With a repertoire of styles ranging from ballet, modern, jazz, theatre, tap, hip-hop and acrobatic partnering, Chris Houston is a consummate dancer, choreographer and champion acrobat.
Chris was a featured dancer and singer in London’s West End productions of Miss Saigon (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), and Cats (New London Theatre). In regional theatre Chris appeared in Babes in Arms (Churchill Theatre London), Peter Pan (King’s Theatre Edinburgh), and Cinderella (King’s Theatre Glasgow).
Chris is an award-winning choreographer; he has created for Michael Flatley (Riverdance, Lord of the Dance), for his docu-drama King of Clubs on the BBC. He has also choreographed a variety of industrial events in association with Jean Ann Ryan Productions, Purple Lotus Productions and Secrets Las Vegas. Chris has been the artistic coordinator for the legendary Crazy Horse Paris Cabaret (MGM Grand Las Vegas), as well as choreographer for numerous acrobatic performances at festivals across Europe. Chris has traveled the globe with the industry’s cutting-edge choreographers and producers, performing in productions from Europe to the Middle East. He was a featured dancer in Las Vegas with Celine Dion’s ‘A New Day’ theatre spectacular at Caesar’s Palace, directed by Franco Dragone. In 2008, Chris performed with Celine Dion on her “Taking Chances” World Tour and can be seen on the Tour DVD and the theatrical release of the movie "Celine Through The Eyes of The World".
Currently, Chris is with Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas for their newest production Viva Elvis, at the Aria Resort and Casino. On stage or television, Chris has performed with many stars including, Sir Elton John, Jerry Seinfeld, Sir Richard Branson, Michael Flatley, Justin Timberlake, Oprah Winfrey, Jerry Lewis, and Ellen Degeneres.
From the World Music Awards, television commercials, music videos and the annual Jerry Lewis Telethon, Chris continues to push the boundaries of inspired performing arts.
